When I left home for the first time, I moved with my College program exchange to Mexico City. The largest city in the world. At the time the total population of the city, topped the population of all of Canada. 4 months living there changed my life forever. One way was handheld foods. I love tacos and wraps. It’s an ingenious way of eating for the go or purely for taste.
Wraps come in different flavors from spinach to sun-dried tomatoe, cheese and more. Personally I use them in so many difference ways I lack adventure to accommodate many different meals. But as a sandwich, the wrap is one of my all time favorite lunchtime meals. Ham and cheddar classic combination is one of many I make on a regular bases but it tops the list.
Start By:
Add a dollop of mayo in the center of your chosen wrap.
Spread it around the wrap with the back of a spoon.
Add ham, I find three sliced of deli meat to be the perfect ratio.
Add lettuce. I prefer Romain, again because it works with so many dishes. But iceberg would also work of course.
Shred your cheddar right over the plate.
Also sliver a few onions on top of the cheddar. Onion and cheddar work exceptionally well together adding flavor.
Now wrap it up!
Simple and beautiful. Muy bueno luncho! 😉

The only thing I’d change is replacing the ham with streaky bacon. For a bit of crunch, a line of potato gems (tater tots for American friends) up the middle is good too.
