The Chipper Chicken

I started out planning last night’s dinners as most inevitable do. I had defrost my main ingredient, chicken breast. From there I go in search of a recipe. Something I can put together with the ingredients I know I have on hand.

After scouring my cookbooks to no avail. I turn to pinterest to save me. In my travels through pins across the Web, I’m stopped by a presumptuous title. This pin boast ‘melt in your mouth chicken’. I decide to take the challenge.

An interesting sauce with a mayonnaise base. All mixed with garlic powder, seasoning salt, black pepper and a lot of Parmesan cheese. Simplicity that seamed ingenious.

I horizontally sliced the breasts.

Layered them flat in a casserole dish. Then preceded to paint on the sauce on the chicken. Followed by the oven at 375° for 45 minuets.

Notes: I would paint on the mayonnaise sauce sparingly its very flavorful. It did keep the chicken very moist. The smell of it cooking way amazing.  Definitely tasty. I paired this recipe with garlic sautéed asparagus and sour cream and chives noodles.

But not the best of the best. The search continues.

This chicken looks like something my family would like. I might give it a try! It’s also nice because I generally have all the ingredients on hand.
